HF/VHF/UHF Monitoring System

Remote Operated Automatic HF-VHF-UHF Monitoring and Decoding System is designed and integrated for the purpose of Passive Interception, Logging and Analysis of Target HF-VHF-UHF Radio Links operating in Frequency Range of 2 MHz -3 GHz.

The HF-VHF-UHF Interception system comes in a Transportable chassis where all the modules are seamlessly integrated to provide an Integrated Monitoring and surveillance platform to the operator for effective and efficient Interception process.

The HF-VHF-UHF Monitoring system configuration consist of multiple Mobile Interception Posts (MIP) and a Mobile Control Station (MCS) and a suitable secure Telecom Link between MIP and MCS. Each MIP has been designed in a manner to work fully automatically and unmanned or remote controlled on a desirable post. In a Minimum configuration one MIP and One MCS is required for creating an Independent radio reconnaissance system.
The Master Control Station (MCS) is a sophisticated Processing environment, which controls the Mobile Interception post remotely. Multiple MIP's can be controlled using one or more MCS. The operator at the MCS uses the operator interface to define the Interception Requirements or Actions for the MIP. The Interception Requirements which can be allocated to MIP, comprises of :
Frequency of Interest
Start time/End time of Interception
Signal level and duration
Modulation Type
Recording Bandwidth & duration
Various Recording Triggers
The Interception Requirements are managed at the MCS in form of structured lists. These are transmitted to the MIP's via communication channels. The current status of the MIP and the result of the Interception Requirements to be processed can be interrogated continuously.
After transmission from the MIP to the MCS, if required the recorded data can be analyzed and further processed. The results of the analysis in conjunction with the emitter data records obtained and the user's expertise then form the overall result. In this mode, one of the receivers at the remote MIP is dedicated to a selected emitter (e.g. speech communication) for acquisition and demodulation. After audio compression, the demodulated narrowband audio signal is then ciphered and transferred in real time via the communication interface directly to the MCS where it is output as a live audio signal again.
